Samadhi Statue

	One of the most remarkable Buddha statues, this statue surmised to belong to the 6th century adorns the Abhayagiri complex of Anuradhapura. Of a height of 12 feet and carved out of stone, it shows the Buddha in the Dhyana Mudra posture.
