Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) refers to a computer system that collects and analyzes data in real time. SCADA systems are commonly used in plants and equipment in various industries.

How SCADA works

This system also has three major elements — the RTU or the Remote Telemetry Units, Communications, and Human Machine Interface or HMI.
